I’m Michelle, the owner and photographer behind White Design & Photography, and I’m so glad you’re here. Based in Sweetlips, TN, I’ve had the joy of capturing the moments that matter most to families for over twenty years. There is nothing more fulfilling than sharing in the journey of a newly engaged couple, watching their family grow, and celebrating their milestones, from the birth of a newborn to high school graduation. A deep love for art and photography led me to pursue a degree in graphic design and photography with a minor in marketing/business from Lambuth University. I began my career at a national advertising agency, where I honed my skills in professional design and retouching. In 2003, I founded White Design & Photography, merging my business insight with my creative passion. Today, I find immense joy in documenting the special moments of my clients, building lasting friendships, and watching their families grow. I believe every person is unique, and my goal is to design a portrait session that reflects your individual personality, hobbies, and interests. Am I the Right Photographer for You...

We want to make the process of booking a photography session with us as simple as possible.

Here's a quick overview of how it works:

Consultation: We'll start with a phone call to chat about your vision for the photos and answer any questions you have.

Book Your Session: Once we've set a date, a session fee is due to secure your time slot. This fee covers your photo session, the professional editing of your images, a private online proof gallery, and a personalized ordering appointment. All prints, products, and digital files are purchased separately.(You will be able to order digital packages if you like.)

Photo Session Day: We'll meet at our planned location and create some beautiful images.

Ordering Appointment: A few weeks after your session, we'll get together for a viewing and ordering appointment. During this time, you can place your order in person, or take some time to decide and order online from the comfort of your own home.

Our photo business offers a variety of stunning backdrops to bring your vision to life. Our indoor studio is fully equipped with professional lighting and props, providing a comfortable and controlled environment for your session. Step outside and you'll find acres of picturesque wooded land and open fields, perfect for capturing rustic and natural-themed photos. If you're looking for a more urban or scenic vibe, we're happy to travel to downtown areas, scenic river locations, or any other destination you have in mind. We're committed to making your photo shoot a unique and memorable experience, tailored to your specific preferences.
